Job Description:
This leading transportation fuel provider has operations located primarily in the East Coast and Midwest regions of the United States. The company sells transportation fuels through more than 4,900 branded retail locations in 24 states. Their convenience stores are operated by the company or independent dealers in more than 600 of its retail locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer and internal data feeds to ensure continuity and consistency, conduct ongoing quality checks.
- Create calculations, charts and dashboards to support daily/weekly/monthly reporting needs.
- Participate actively in the project design process to assure all data requirements are satisfied.
- Create and maintain documentation of process and best practices, and train internal users and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Data entry position.
- Maximo or SharePoint experience would be ideal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Excel skills - highly experienced in manipulating spreadsheet data, and are fluent in all functionality associated with the Data tab and Chart tabs. Experienced merging and manipulating data sets with Pivot Tables, vlookup, etc.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Monitoring a mailbox.
- Data entry into the procurement system.
- Redirecting approvals to the appropriate person.
- Monitoring a resource page and responding to request.
- Directing people to the appropriate resource information.
- Assisting in issue investigations.
- Strong statistics/mathematics/engineering skills, quantitative analysis.
- Enjoy working with data - great attention to detail and enjoy looking at data sets and finding anomalies, outliers, and patterns.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well with others, work independently, be proactive and tackle challenging data-related assignments.
